Ingan Tours is an Australian company that is 100% Aboriginal owned by the Grant family in Tully, North Queensland.
We are the Jabanbarra Jirrbal people and our land extends from the Tully river area and within the Davidson Creek area in the southern coastal area and extends north west into the Tablelands up to the Herberton area.
Our tours and educational programs provide insight to how life was for our people before contact from the outside world. We offer a range of quality cultural products from hiking, weaving, bush tucker, string making, mountain trekking to student educational tours which journey you through some of the tropical north’s breath taking views of World Heritage Protected Rainforest.
Walk in the footsteps of our Ancestors, weave a bracelet, paint your face, throw a boomerang, catch a fish, come face to face with a cassowary, set up camp and eat some Aboriginal cuisine (bush tucker).
Let us inspire you by viewing the world through our eyes…

Liz Gallie Studio
Liz Gallie, best known for her unique handmade jewellery made from local lawyer cane and precious metals, adopted Mission Beach as her home in 1974 after visiting what Liz terms "The most beautiful place I had ever seen.
Liz's studio is open by appointment and is a short walk from the cottage on a meandering pathway through the rainforest.
This is cassowary country and if you are lucky, one of the resident birds may make an appearance during your visit.

ZOE BAY – HINCHINBROOK ISLAND CAMPING
The most beautiful of all Australia’s islands. Our favourite place in the whole world, a place that has been part of our consciousness forever and a place you should not miss while in Australia. A monstrous 400sq km of area with mountain peaks over 1000 metres, cascading waterfalls, walking tracks through unbelievable diversities of flora. This is truly a wonderland, a place to forget the world, highly regulated as far as numbers of visitors are concerned. It is one of the worlds largest “Island National Park” and we can get you there! Zoe Bay is nestled beneath the peaks of Mt. Bowen. Rainforest kisses the ocean here and secluded camping areas under the rainforest canopy provide you with a great base for all of your exploring activities. A short walk will put you under a beautiful waterfall where you can swim in pristine mountain water.
Our vision is to interact with Hinchinbrook and to be a voice for her in return for all of the wonderful memories she has provided for us as children….
